2. Fils des hommes, jusques à quand ma gloire sera-t-elle outragée? Jusques à quand aimerez-vous la vanité, Chercherez-vous le mensonge? -Pause.
3. Sachez que l'Eternel s'est choisi un homme pieux; L'Eternel entend, quand je crie à lui.
4. Tremblez, et ne péchez point; Parlez en vos coeurs sur votre couche, puis taisez-vous. -Pause.
5. Offrez des sacrifices de justice, Et confiez-vous à l'Eternel.
6. Plusieurs disent: Qui nous fera voir le bonheur? Fais lever sur nous la lumière de ta face, ô Eternel!
7. Tu mets dans mon coeur plus de joie qu'ils n'en ont Quand abondent leur froment et leur moût.
8. Je me couche et je m'endors en paix, Car toi seul, ô Eternel! tu me donnes la sécurité dans ma demeure.

2. O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah.
3. But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call to him.
4. Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
5. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
6. There are many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift thou upon us the light of thy countenance.
7. Thou hast put gladness in my heart, more than in the time when their corn and their wine increased.
8. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep; for thou only, LORD, makest me dwell in safety.
